Prisoners is basically a revenge film in which a man named Keller Dover tries to take revenge from the man who kidnapped his daughter . This is not your usual feel-good movie , it is a perfectly paced thriller , that will take you to the edge of your seats . This movie show how a man can be pushed to his very extreme when it comes to family .

Both Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhall have aced their roles . Sometimes you feel that a movie is slow . This usually happens in thrillers , directors make it slow just to increase the suspense , but this , it is perfectly paced . It is not slow , it is not fast .

Prisoners is one of the best thrillers I have watched in a long time .

You know the most important thing your granddad ever taught me? Hmm? Be ready. Hurricane, flood, whatever it ends up being. No more food gets delivered to the grocery store, gas stations dry up. People just turn on each other, and uh, all of a sudden all that stands between you and being dead is you.

MY RATING : 85/100
